An Apple of My Eye (A sonnet-dedicated to my daughter)-

Beholding at an apple of my eye in the garden

Past through three wonderful "Call it springs"

I as a gardener whirlwind to rejuvenate once again

Simultaneously counting on "What it brings".

A sweet fragrance or a mesmerizing outlook

That somehow turn every beholder to be a fan

In reach by your beautiful heart and ideal hook

By being who you"re and doing the best you can.

Whenever I put myself on your shoes and see

I feel sorry for not being by your side in need

Where at times you din't have my hands hold thee

Although you've walked better and so much far ahead.

You are born free to fly high, be where you'd love to be in

Hence you break, you then dare make it within...
